Hi, this seems to be the most likely thread to enter this into...

Last week I rebuilt a Tivo using the latest ISO. I did the initial call and got guide data, I set it to only dial at weekends, but forced a couple more manual updates in the week, and then switched it off waiting for a new STB to arrive.

That's now here and working, but the dialup is failing with number unavailable, is there a problem with the 0161 number today ?

On Monday the server received slightly fewer calls than normal via the 0161 number, but I don't see any particularly unusual gaps in the logs, and calls are being received via that route as I write this.

hmmm, it worked okay this morning. guess i'll just have to keep an eye on it...

I have multiple "Failed to connect" errors when I dial in on a weekend :?:

Thought at first a reboot fixed it, but alas a few weeks on it doesnt seem to make much difference, some weeks I connect and DL with no issues, other weeks I have to try up to 5 times before it will play ball :? never had the problem with the 0845 number but had too swap due to call costs mounting :cry:
