A recent lightening strike not only destroyed the ethernet ports on my BT Homehub but it also took out the Ethernet connectivity on my Cachecard. Luckily I had a spare. So I moved the 256MB RAM over to the new card and swapped it in. Everything is tickety-boo except that some Tivo menu operations now seem to take an age, particularly when recording a program. I've tried re-booting and the startup sequence all seems good and the Cachecard appears to do its caching.
After the lightening strike it was about 8 days before I realised I had problems. Could this simply be the result of Tivo having a lot of data to process after a successful download ? It's been nearly 24 hours since the download though.
Any suggestions or ideas ?
Thanks
P.S. And a big-up to the AltEPG team of course !!!!
