irSliceCreator - wc / cut command not found

I've been trying to use MickB's modded irSliceCreator (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=514&hilit=irslicecreator#p5864) but I get the following errors:

./irSliceCreator.sh: wc: command not found
./irSliceCreator.sh: cut: command not found

FWIW, I don't seem to have "tar" either - I had to unpack on PC before FTPing across.

I'm using a standardish TiVo image, rather than the AltEPG one - presumably that's why I'm missing the command binaries.

Can anyone help?!
