Still using TiVo?

We have drifted from Tivo towards using catch up but then getting sick of adverts. Tivo sill connected up and working though so gets a little use.

What are you using if you've moved on from TiVo?

Is there anything ass easy and straightforward to use?

I'm sorry to say my Tivo died in October last year, most likely the power supply packed up.

We'd already been using a mix of streaming and Tivo but we decided to replace Tivo with a Manhattan T4-R https://manhattan-tv.com/freeview/manha ... v-recorder

Pros:
Capacity- we bought the 2TB model and can't see that we'll run out of space!
    HD Pictures
5.1 sound (where available - mostly limited to films)
    2 Tuners
    Integrated catch-up for BBC, ITV, C4, C5
Automatic start/stop padding for programmes running early/late - does seem to work, need to check further with sporting events!
Cons:
    No wishlists
Liable to reboot when navigating menus too quickly
Gets stuck in standby occasionally and doesn't record programmes when stuck (workaround is to not use standby, leave it "on")
Conflict resolution is not as flexible as Tivo (but far fewer conflicts due to 2 tuners (and catch-up))
Season passes get auto-deleted 12 weeks after the most recent episode was recorded (but see note below about what they record)
Pleasant Surprises:
Setting up a series pass for a programme only records episodes from that specific series and not other series. This is great for avoiding repeats of old series whilst watching the latest
Guide data is good and reliable with series and episode numbers
