Two TiVos - same serial number

I've registered my main TiVo on the AltEPG page, as that's the one I use for connecting for EPG updates, but haven't connected the one in the bedroom up for about 3 years. Would I still be able to use that with the AltEPG? It's not a problem if I can't, as I only intended to use the main one for updates and just have a few manual recordings on the bedroom one anyway, and I'll manually change the Freeview box attached to it, but I just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

PS. My main one is a networked TiVo, so knowing that TiVo would probably frown if I did try and connect them both, that's why I haven't tried to connect my bedroom one (which is dial-up only).

Each TiVo has a different serial number, as shown in the system information screen under TiVo service number.

As long as you register both TiVos on altepg then there should be no problems using the new EPG service.
