Hi,
I have just purchased and installed a new hard disk from TiVoland.
I have noticed that often (but not always) a 30 minute programme ends up as 37 minutes on the disk. It appears that the TiVo is padding the recording with 2 minutes before and 5 minutes after the scheduled time. But I think it's doing this intelligently - i.e. it will do it if it can, but not if there are other recordings butting up against it.
This is a great feature (if it really is doing what it looks like to me). I'm just interested to know where it came from? Is it something to do with the LBA48 kernel?
Cheers,
Bill
