Neither TivoWebPlus 2.0 nor 2.1 has ever crashed for me in the 4 years that I have been using them (and I use them every day).

The only "crash" reports I've seen is where people are trying to run 1.9.4 scripts under 2.0 without expecting to make any script modifications!

Not so much "inconsistency" as simply 2 different ways of achieving the same outcome. Perhaps giving you a choice confused you.

Just a thought for those on Dial up , would it change the account status if we just dialed in to the altEPG server under a test call ???
Then again might as well just move over to altEPG and be done with it :lol:

As long as the Tivo service number has been registered with altepg, then yes.
