I flew to Orlando on July 7th to see the final Shuttle launch (she duly obliged from my viewing point on the NASA Causeway on my "VIP" Coach Trip at my first time of asking unlike various other people who I believe have made several abortive trips to Florida without any success in seeing the bird fly) courtesy mainly of Air Miles (or at least 2,500 of them which reduced an extortionate last minute BA World Traveller fare from £920 to only £320 booking only two days before the flight) and only got back on Sunday morning (July 17th). Whilst I did have occasional web access in the USA at the odd Motel it didn't include time for minor entertainments such as posting on this forum. I suppose I also didn't post for a few days before I went due to trying to clear the decks for the trip. As to Spitfires I suppose he may well have crashed and burned at the Fairford air show over the weekend although more likely is that he has gone off on some earnest and tedious British holiday such as caravanning in Cornwall or walking in the Lake District.

I suppose I should feel honoured that the myopic citrus should be sufficiently interested in my whereabouts or well being to have also brought himself out of forum retirement in order to post on the subject. Flies Open is almost certainly a genuine scary stalker as he normally never posts here or on Tivocommunity but has made stalking comments about me before under the same forum name on another internet forum. Rachel is incorrect in her assumption about my star sign, which is Aquarius, although had I been born 10 minutes later I would have been a Pisces. Also why has nobody asked who is Rachel and where has she been hiding for the last 10 years? Did she perhaps use a different member identity over at Tivocommunity?

But the real question that you all seem to have missed in your concern for my well being is what on earth has happened to CarlWaring?..............

Oh and lastly I returned to find a Tivo with no Guide Data available that had made its final recording on Pick TV two or three days before my return. I just couldn't bring myself to switch my original Tivo to the AltEPG until it had chewed its last possible piece of Tribune EPG data. My backup dialup Tivo had however recorded crucial stuff using AltEPG.

I'm still not sure why he has a thing about me taking three week holidays though. Its not as though I'm even a fellow boy scout leader like him or anything. But what utter rank hypocrisy for the aforesaid Mr Younger to have claimed posts I made about other forum members were too personal at times whilst then using a fake forum ID himself to make comments quite deliberately designed to worry and scare other forum members. I'm also beginning to wonder if he and bigwold are in fact also in some way related.

I didn't have any reason to read that particular post.

Personally I much preferred it when he used a normal sounding forum name and the paper bag on his head for his forum avatar rather than making us constantly wonder why he now takes such pleasure in a forum name that references an embarrassing mistake in the state of a person's clothing. This is the last thing I would have expected from someone with a forum avatar showing a paper bag on their head.

not that its any of your business but for 6 years I was still at school, then I was in Holloway for 3 years for solicitation and extortion, and I'm currently training to be a psychiatric nurse.

Are you sure that you aren't perhaps trying to wind me up about being in Holloway prison for 3 years of solicitation and extortion. On the other hand training as a psychiatric nurse could certainly lead to some interesting diagnoses on the posting motivations of various forum regulars. Also why were you only at school for 6 years? Surely they can't send you to Holloway at age 11!

Perhaps you are in fact Dave's daughter so hence your very high level of Tivo knowledge from an apparently standing start in the forum?

No, you see you misunderstand.

As he has already had a dialogue with "Somebody Else" <tm>, this entitles him to a full Lifetime service of accurate answers from the current "Rachel". He of course won't understand what has changed, and will probably P155 "Rachel" off, since he isn't getting the service he feels he is entitled to.

The next step is somebody - yourgoodself for example - will point out his misunderstanding, and then he will continue to attack you, and anyone else who either does, or doesn't agree with your point of view.

This is known behaviour for the 77 model Pete, and alas, there is not much you can do with it. I would suggest updating to a newer model, known to work well with the AltEPG service.

Did they let you have a Tivo as well as a telly in your cell in HMP Holloway? I suppose that would have given you plenty of time to read up on a Tivo's operation.
