Your account status is on the System Information screen, accessed through Messages and Setup.

Most channels have data for the next 21 days updated daily, but the main terrestrial channels have their data updated daily, but a week's new data is added every weekend, so you have between 7 and 14 days of data.

My TiVo made its last call on Wednesday 25 May and I have not risked an EPG update since. Unfortunately, most data is now "To be announced" (the exceptions are BBC Parliament and CBBC, which is all that TiVo suggestions is recording now!). My account status has been ‘4: TiVo Internal Testing’ since last October and kept on reverting to "Account closed" unless someone at Sky sent a 'snooze request' (?) as, I think, they called it - has anyone else been in this position? If I let TiVo update now I'm worried that it will revert to "Closed" now that the support has gone (no-one to talk to at Sky anymore). I have not yet tried the AltEPG because I'm on dial-up and following requests on this forum to wait for extra lines. Any advice?

Try a TEST call - then check the status

You can follow that with a TEST call to ALT-EPG if you are "Account Closed" and that will reset to "Internal Testing"

BUT to do this, you will need to follow PART of the instructions here http://www.tivoland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=500

Appreciate the advice philg - think I'll hang on a few more days, particularly as Dave has indicated we shouldn't have long to wait now [http://www.tivoland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4676&f=8#p4676].

Thanks everyone for the BBC1 reports. All my BBC1 programmes are "To Be Announced" - but that's on my BBC1WSM. If I select BBC1 (London I presume) all the data is there!

I've got a Tivo Service Lineup change message when I dialed in to update - all the Irish terrestrial and Sky channels have been removed on my Tivo!

Maybe that is how they're going to shut down the service, selected channels removed at a time.

The Virgin Media TiVo isn't available in Ireland so there's no reason for them to carry those channels anymore.

Yes old EPG working fine and now have data almost to end of month.

Incidentally my partner has the new Virgin TIVO and also knows my TIVO series 1 from here. She is a non-techie but has been horrified by the comparison and not in Virgin's favour. The series one has far more storage, far more data and is much easier and pleasenter to use. The Virgin TIVO is deeply disappointing at almsot all levels. When you try to record shows from the index , the index is stuffed with actors' names which makes it very cumbersome indeed to use yet we can find no way to remove these. Does anyone know?

Is this progress? It seems unbelievable.
