Firstly I want to apologise for any inconvenience you may have suffered as a result of the recent dialup problem.
We eventually isolated the cause of our problem at an authentication application (RADIUS Server) we specifically put in place to handle the wildcard
*@tivo.net user authentications on our 0845 dialup systems. This particular application server failed to autostart after a maintenance reboot within our network and was not picked up by any of our other users due to the uniqueness of this configuration. We have adjusted the parameters and this type of issue should now not reoccur. Any users that have previoulsy edited their dialup configuration scripts would probably have been immune to this problem further making our diagnosis a little more lengthy than normal.
If there are any future issues with the 0845 number please PM me via this forum so I am notified and can start debug a little quicker.
By all accounts things seem back to normal now.
