Tivo crashing - to Green screen today !

Hi I'm using the dial up (0161) and its been fine.
Today my Tivo keeps hanging (i get a green screen - telling me there is a major fault that the Tivo will try to rectify over the next 3 hrs.Warning not to turn off the machine or unplug it and listing a phone number to call if it doesnt recover.

Its happened 3 times today - I changed ny hard drive to 1TB about a month ago its been fine but thought that this may be the problem.
However I have looked at the setup and its failed 3 times to make the dialup and failed so now suspect that this is the source of the crashes- I am also getting an error report of a network card failure in tivo messages - but I dont use a network card?.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Many of us have the problem, but if everyone posts a brand new thread today before reading the existing threads on the issue it's going to get really annoying - and far harder to manage.

Sorry couldnt see any mention of this -
the two most recent threads - didnt appear relevant "Failed Number not answering (started 19th Nov) whilst "Help, rebooting when processing daily call data! " was started today only had 2 posts and spoke of network downloads not dialup.

Must admit it doesnt surprise me we're having mulitple threads appearing like this, had similar on another forum I frequent (not TiVo related) we cured it by having a "Service Status" sticky/announcment type thread which was then used as a heads up for problems, after we introduced it this cured all the multiple thread problems we use to get.

I does need managing though and needs to be kept up to date but does seem to work especially if it sticks out like a sore thumb by calling it something like "Service Status" 8)
