Stuck at boot screen

One of my 3 TiVos rebooted itself last night and is now stuck on the final 'almost there - a few more seconds please' message.

Tried a couple of power cycles and also pulled the cachecard memory and then the cachecard itself but all to no avail, MoBo or HD do you think ?

Not averse to replacing the HD if necessary but 'er indoors has stuff on there which she hasn't watched yet so that's a last resort rather than a first !

Thanks to the ALTEPG team BTW for keeping us up and running, don't know what we'd do without our TiVo's !

Update:

Dug out an old HD which has an early version of ALTEPG on it but remembered that it's stuck in guided setup so I can't get to the configuration page to set the network parameters.

Any way around that ?

I don't know if it applies to the old version of altepg you have but on the current version kickstart code 54 aborts guided setup, see

Thanks, tried that but no luck.

I can Telnet to it so is there anything I can do via that perhaps ?

Otherwise I'll wait for the new HD I've ordered.

On my AltEPG image the network parameters are stored in the file /etc/oztivo.conf

It also has the 'joe' editor installed, so it should just be a matter of editing that file, crossing you fingers and rebooting.
