Replacement PSU?

Does anyone know of a source of PSUs? Mine died last night, and I'll soon be getting lots of grief.

Another option would be a complete unit.

Thanks

Lloyd

I couldn't find one yesterday but looking at the recent posts yours may not have died (nor mine)
I suspect you are getting GSOD (green screen of death) ?
read the post about guide data from POTS (no idea what pots is- some people love acronyms) or ac's we should call them :D

I have been in touch with a component supplier who may be able to supply a repair kit of capacitors for the TiVo series one psu (power supply unit)
which will be perhaps our only hope to keep our tivos running.
I have supplied a list of the component values we need and subject to those parts being suitable and repairing a known failed PSU I will post a link for the repair kit.

you will of course have to be happy with a soldering iron and understand the dangers involved

I've got a spare psu in the garage if you still need one.

It's several years old, but was bought new as a spare and never used.

You can have it for free if you cover the postage (no guarantees that it will work however)

"ac's" would be an abbreviation rather than an acronym
