No Daily Email over past few days

Is anyone else having problems with Daily emails? The last one I received was 4 days ago. Since then, the Daily EMail log says "-Sent mail to altepg server. Status : POST ok" but I never receive the email. The "email" looks fine when you view it in TWP, though.

I've also tried sending a Customised email from TWP to an alternate email; that doesn't get through either. I've rebooted the TIVO too.

Hi Steve,

My situation was that from Friday afternoon, through to Saturday evening, my Tivo was unable to update -
nor could it complete the test call function.

In addition, throughout the same period, I also found that I was unable to access this forum site, nor
the AltEPG Home Page - it was all very strange.

Whatever, all seemed to return to normal yesterday morning.

I received one on Friday and today, but not Saturday or Sunday.

Recently my Gmail seems to have started to classify them as spam, but despite that Saturday and Sunday just didn't arrive at all.

I could not connect late Friday.
Tried again Saturday and Sunday and eventually had "Success"

But it wasn't to be. This morning I find I only have programmes up to this Friday and also the "Less than 7 days programmes" Footer

I am dialling in as per old style

Please let us know there is a fix !

After a "successful" update this morning, I too had "only 7 days" and programme guide
only to this Friday.

Afterwards, I immediately re-booted Tivo, where there was a correction: "7 days" message was no
more and programme guide data had extended out to Thursday 27 Nov.

Give it a try.

Thanks for the replies. Have just tried another reboot on mine and then requested another Daily EMail via TWP. I still don't seem to get any emails. I've tried Hotmail, GMAIL, BTINTERNET and Sky, and checked the Spam folders too. No errors reported for any of them in the Daily Mail Log.

My daily calls seem to be OK, and programme data goes through to Tuesday 4th Dec.

I'll see if there is any success tomorrow when the automated email is sent.

Just powered up my spare Tivo and requested Daily Email via TWP. That one hasn't come through either, but will leave it overnight, just in case. Will see how its Daily Call goes overnight too.

Have just checked and have received no emails from either Tivo overnight. Nothing in Spam folders either.

Daily Calls on both Tivos ran without problems, though.

There was an issue with the server which meant the website was unavailable on Friday and Saturday. E-mails were taken offline during this period also.

This was all cleared on Sunday, but some e-mails sent out were being marked as spam by certain spam-checking companies, so may not have been delivered to you. (Some e-mail providers 'intercept and reject', so you would not see them in your spam folder as they would simply not arrive)

That should now be cleared but it can take 48 hours for the internet to catch up with the change.

Unfortunately no automatic or TWP-requested emails from either of my units have come through yet, but I'll keep checking over the next day or so.

Pegasus, many thanks for the fix and update, though.

Is there a better email account to use to get the emails through to overcome the automatic Spam processing of some providers? I'm currently using Hotmail in my Altepg account but also have GMAIL, Sky/Yahoo and BTINTERNET ones I can use. I know Hotmail and Gmail are fairly strict at what they stop at their end before things get to Spam or Inbox at my end. Hotmail has on the whole been fine for me up till know. I've had the odd time when Daily EMails never got through, or they went to Spam, but that's always been only for the odd day so far.

Send me a PM with the email addy you used, and the time the email was sent - I'll check the server logs.
