I used to be able to access TiVo by first of all accessing my router and seeing the list of connected devices, then using the IP address access the TiVo. Now when I access the router it shows my phone my TV my chromecast, but not my TiVo - and yet TiVo is accessing guide date via the home network overnight. Why cant I access TiVo via the home network?

In part it depends on how the router is configured, and whether your TiVo has a "fixed" or a "dynamic" (DHCP) IP address.

Have you changed router, or broadband provider?

Your TiVo will likely keep the same IP address all the time so just try whatever address it had last time (e.g. http://192.168.1.200 or http://192.168.1.100 )

Yeah notification emails seem to be broken at the mo :(

You can always try to scan your home network and see if you can find TiVo that way. E.g. using https://angryip.org/

Just tried that and it finds only two items connected to the internet whereas just looking in my router finds 5 but not TiVo.
