Season Passes

Hi. This may have been covered earlier if so accept my appologies. I have just set up my tivo on the new system using a Sony Freeview. All works fine apart from a problem with season passes and wish lists.
I have cleared out all old ones and am starting to create new ones. If I create a season pass from the live tv list it dosn't pick up the showings in to do list it just says none scheduled but if i pick out an individual showing from live tv list and set to record then it comes on the to do list. Any suggestions please?

Is this all Season Passes you are trying to create or just a particular one? What's the channel and series you are trying to set as a SP?

created two as a test one for Casualty and one for Luther both on BBC 1 NE

Just tried one for The Royal on ITV 1TYN and same problem

Did you clear out the old programme data? When you say

did you do that by a "Clear & Delete" (prior to Guided Setup) or did you just manually delete each SP?

Manually dleted each SP as I had recordings I wanted to retain

That's probably the problem.
In Messages and Setup -> system reset, you need to "clear programme data & to do list" this would clear existing season passes etc whilst keeping your existing recordings.

Thanks Rachel, tried that but unfortunately seem to still have same problem. if I view upcoming showings it sees them but doesn't come up in to do list!

So you have just run "Clear Programme Data & To Do List" and rerun Guided Setup?
Don't forget it can take up to 6-8 hours (it seems to take a bit longer than the old Tribune data) for the tivo to index all the data.

Ok - so have cleared data, done guided set up created some wish lists and season passes but only one wish list seems to work and no season passes! hmm

Give the TiVo enough time to index the data. Also, don't use First Run Only as a parameter.

Is it only nstrike who has this problem please? Other people can set SPs up directly from the live TV onscreen guide I take it?

Ok so did the whole clear and guided set up again last night and left it indexing overnight and the same problem. Just taken the advice not to use first run and now they seem to work! So that seems to be the area of issue! Anyone else found the same? Neil
