Help: Can't get the *.iso file to Boot

Can anyone help? I've down loaded the AltEPG.ISO, disconnected my other System Drives and attached an old Tivo Hard disk (admittedly still containing old recordings) but on switch on I get the following erorr: DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER. I try this but the whole thing repeats. Any Help gratefully appreciated as I'm stuck at square 1. Sandeman

Two possibilities come to mind:
1. Your BIOS is not set with CD-ROM as a boot option.
or
2. You have burned the downloaded iso as a file rather than an image. If you put the CD you made in an already booted PC and "explore" the CD, what file(s) do you see.

*.iso image copied and hopefully up and running once I get all the config sorted,
