What have you got connected between TiVo <-> PC by the way?

I might have to set up in the bedroom as that's the only place with an unwatched TV/FreeView Box/Internet and no kids.

Yes I knew I kept that little portable for a reason! :D

The cables allow for fast swapping of the disc between the tyVO and the PC - just swap the connector on the relevant mobo. A dangly 2' long power cable connector allows fast switch-over of the PSU too (it's safer to ensure electrical connectivity of the disc by using the correct PSU).

Oh and as well as network there's a serial PPP connection just for added complexity/variety ;)
