This very interesting. Nothing to do with AltEPG specifically, but TiVo has always had problems like this. For instance, I have a wishlist in for "House". I could probably cure it by making it a title search rather than a keyword search (I'm just too lazy to try, LOL), but as it is, there are sometimes over 200 matches in a week. What it needs is a NOT or ONLY parameter, so that only the keyword on its own would match. Maybe network users could have such a change as a software modification one day.

Remember we can never change the core software (including the scheduling engine)- if we could there's loads we would have changed by now.

Things like removing recordings can always be done behind TiVo's back with tivoweb modules and other scripts though. Tracker and Blocklist are two examples of these. A 'not' function would have to be a separate bolt-on thing.
