I'm currently unable to connect my TiVo via dial-up. Having issues with our phone line, so that may well be the cause.
I have a network card installed, but haven't used it since migrating to AltEPG. Would someone mind pointing me at a post telling me the simplest way to tell my TiVo to call via the network instead on dial-up.
I also trying to install a second TiVo using an official AltEPG imaged drive from Tivoland, but the phone line is an issue again. I have a new Network card for this purpose. Do I make the same changes as for my up and running TiVo? Before attempting Guided Setup I need to ensure that the connection (phone or network) is correct using the Test Call option, so getting it correct on this second TiVo will be more crucial.
