I've used a Humax HD-Fox T2 with a TiVo.

Did you have to do any hacking within TiVo to get it working? or was it pure plug and play?

When I first used a Humax HD-Fox T2 the TiVo didn't have the IR codes under Freeview, but it did have a set for Satellite that worked, so I did have to do some hacking. They were subsequently added as standard Freeview IR codes so it should now be straightforward.

Having just caught up with the fact that I cannot get to change chanels since the digital switch over, I have read this string of messages on the subject.
I have a Sony VTX-D800U (which hopefully is the same as the VTX800U referenced in the string).
Parden my simplicity, but what do I have to do to get it to work?

You may need to rescan the Sony STB to re-order the channels, you will need your original Sony remote to access the menu for a full rescan of all channels.

I'm not clear exactly where you are starting from. It may just be a case you need to tell the TiVo the model of Set-Top Box it is controlling. If so go to Messages & Setup, Recorder & Call Setup, Set-Top Box Control and follow instructions. You want Sony code 20034.

If however you have been using an analogue lineup and are using a Freeview stb for the first time we can go into more detail. Post back if you need more information.
