Private Message query

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but someone has just sent me a private message, to which I've submitted a reply - but it's sitting in my Outbox, not my Sent messages. In Outlook, that would mean that it hadn't gone - is it the same for PMs? Or does it not move to Sent messages until the recipient has read it, maybe? I tried sending a new PM to them, and it showed as 'sent successfully', but that one is also sitting in my Outbox.

Doesn't sound right to me I'm afraid, all mine are in "sent items". Can't suggest a solution though

It is right. With this message board private messages sit in your Outbox until the recipient reads them. Behaviour is different to Outlook. Remember this is a message board, not an email system...
