EPG days left / disk beeps / picture freeze

Hello all,

I have an old S1 with altepg image and a network card.

1/ Recently my machine is telling me I'm running out of guide data.... but still a daily call goes through without issue.

2/ i've begun to get the occasional beep beep and tivo hang situation (last for between 1min and 5 mins..) - hdd related - is it on the way out ?

3/ also ... this is all the time btw : every 5mins or so the picture freezes for a second or 5.. then proceeds as before without issue.
this is also the case with live tv and playback of old recordings .... thoughts ?

On all the listed issues I would suspect the hard drive but I have had plenty of occasions where the psu has caused it.
I am fortunate that I have spares of both to try.
not clear cut cause in your case but I lean more towards the drive.

I agree, (2) & (3) sound like a hard drive issue. More likely a failing drive than a data issue but you could try forcing a GSOD check - which might cure it or kill it! (Don't blame me if the latter )
