Tivo failing daily call and test call

Just my 2p's worth but if you can access your routers web page (username and password are normally printed on a pullout tab or on the bottom) there should be a page on there showing what devices are connected and what IP address has been assigned to them. Once you have the IP address of your Tivo you can then get telnet access and run the command in DX30's post above.

Masda you have tried modifing the Dail in config as I did here

I was having terrible probs trying dial in with the 127 code, set it to 000 and all came good, cant say for sure if it will fix your problem but gota be worth a go.

Ho Holmwood, sorry only getting back now, I had given
up all hope of getting the tivo up and running. I will have
to double check the network adapter when I get home
from work. Although I do *think* it looked the same.
How do I get the gateway address? Sorry not too
clued up on this side of the tivo. Will check all of
this when I get home in approx 5 hours.
Would love this sorted as setting all recordings
manually and without titles is a pain

Yeah furbag thanks for that. Im pretty
sure I have tried that in the past but
to no avail. Would love to see it working
again. Was all fine till I moved home, had
I forseen this , I would not have used Virgin,
I certainly wouldnt have signed up to a landline
contract.
I will try your advice tonight again, although
I fear that I already tried this thanks for the

Hi Holmwood, just checked that link there
and my network adapter is definitely not the red
one in the pictures. Mine is much smaller than
that.
