I have a series 1 tompson tivo and I am currently experiencing problems with downloading the epg via my telephone connection, the tivo "locks up" with the yellow and green lights on and will not respond to any hand control requests. The only way I can rectify the problem is to switch off the tivo and then on again. When I look at the phone connection information on the setup page, it tells me that it was unsuccessfull in making a call. This only occurs occassionally and to the best of my knowledge when has happened the phone line has not been in use. Could you advise me if there are any steps I can take to avoid this happening? Also, is it possible to select a time that a epg download takes place, I would like to set it up to take place during the night?
